We are looking for a responsible and organized Store Keeper to manage and maintain the inventory of construction materials, tools, and equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure proper storage, accurate record-keeping, and timely distribution of materials required for construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and supplies
- Maintain proper storage and organization of construction materials and tools
- Issue materials and equipment to site staff as required
- Keep accurate records of inventory, stock levels, and material usage
- Conduct regular stock checks and report shortages or damages
- Coordinate with suppliers and site supervisors regarding material requirements
- Ensure the store area remains clean, safe, and well organized
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a store keeper or inventory assistant (preferably in construction)
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and record keeping
- Familiarity with construction materials and tools is an advantage
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Ability to use basic computer systems or inventory software
